Other type of photography

Obraz
Last week we tried other types of photography Instead we used a different solution this time. First we brushed on the solution - onto regular paper- and let it dry. We went outside and collected plants. Then we organised them on the paper and let it sit in the sun. (we used picture frames so the objects would't move because of the wind) After that step the picture looked blue so we rinsed it  in water  and here is mine (all the different steps in the pictures): Its also possible with objects (like Coke bottles) not just plants - that's what other people tried out.                                                                           Here is a comparison from before and after ->                                                                                                                    After, we tried a similar technique, but using light sensitive fabric to make personalised flags! We found more plants and objects to place on the fabric and the surface surrou

We also experimented with different techniques in photography. Using light We chose plants to print on our photography paper and dipped them in different solutions we made previously. Then we let our experiment sit in the light until it got darker around the object and the picture was visible. (the first picture is the finished result) We also tried something similar with finger-painting (with marmite...) on the photography paper and leaving it to sit in the sun.  There was another thing we did as well, involving drawing on a clear plastic surface so it would print on the photography paper - using the light again. (the finished result is a bit light because I didn't let is sit in the sun for long enough)

Update on making patterns

Obraz
In school we carried on with our project to make interesting patterns , using our soil samples which we collected.  We had to mix the soil with a chemical and then, in complete darkness , let that substance sit on the filter paper. This is what it looked like after it dried

Soil samples

Obraz
I collected soil samples from my garden to make some art - using chemistry -  These are some pictures to document the process! It might seem weird but we grew fungi and bacteria on different samples and also, using soil in a solution, transferred it onto filter paper. It made unique patterns .  I collected my soil from 2 different locations, and there are pictures of what equipment I used.

My first entry
